Please note Meath County Council has commenced the review of the current Meath County Development Plan (as varied). A Pre-Draft Strategic Issues Paper for the new County Development Plan 2027-2033 was on public display from Monday 22nd September to 4pm Tuesday 18th November, 2025 where non-zoning related submissions could be made.

The Planning Authority could not consider submissions or observations relating to the zoning and/or re-zoning of any lands at this Pre-Draft stage. These more detailed matters will be considered during the Draft Plan stage. The envisaged timeline for publication of the Draft Development Plan is Q4 of 2026 (Please note this timeline may be subject to change).
